Washington Inmate Search

Washington

The Washington State Department of Corrections offers access to public information concerning inmates currently incarcerated or wanted for arrest by the department. The department publishes these details concerning currently incarcerated persons to improve public safety. To perform a state prisoner lookup, you must offer the inmate's first name, last name, and DOC number on the Inmate Search box. In addition, the site has an offender roster containing the inmate's DOC Number, age, address, and WAVINE Notification. After entering the details, the page will list offenders matching the information you entered. Some of the details you get from the search include the offender's gender, physical description, arrests, bookings, the facility held, crime committed, court date, and release date.

Warrant Search

The inmate search locator allows you to conduct a Warrants Search. You can search by first name, last name, crime, DOC number, or county. The department of corrections publishes details concerning individuals with an outstanding secretary's warrant to ensure public safety. However, the citizens are advised never to attempt to contact any wanted individual as they may be dangerous or armed.

Jail Inmate Search

The most convenient method to conduct an inmate search in the state is to visit a county or city website. Most cities or counties in the state offer inmate locators on their sites to help you find out someone incarcerated in jail. On the other hand, some publish regularly updated jail registries or inmate rosters. Such lists offer the names of offenders in custody and their details, such as sex, age, and offender number. Apart from finding an inmate online, you can visit the sheriff's office or the facility of interest to confirm if an inmate is held in a particular jail in the state.

ICE Detainee Search

When a loved one has been held in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody, it can be a scary experience if you don't know which facility has been taken. Fortunately, you can use the online detainee locator system to find a detainee 18 years of age and above. Below are the searchable options:

Search by Biographical Information

You can find a detainee by using the biographical details such as the full name, age, and date of birth. You should remember that the name should be an exact match for a successful search. If you encounter problems during the search, you can try checking up for misspellings, versions, reversed names or removing/adding a hyphen. In addition, you must provide the detainee's country of birth during the search.

Search by A-Number

You can search by using the detainee's Alien Registration Number. The A-Number is a special nine-digit number provided to immigrants when their A-File is prepared. If the digits are fewer, you must add zeros at the beginning for better results. You can obtain the A-Number from immigration documents such as immigrant fee handouts, passport visa stamps, work permits, and green cards. According to the ICE, using the A-Number to perform the search is the best method, as you will obtain a better match than searching by date of birth and name. Alongside the A-Number, you must provide the detainee's country of birth for better results.
